Course Documents Course Description Integrated Science is intended to introduce students to core ideas in the disciplines of science that will lay the foundation for their subsequent science courses in high school. In concert with developing strong content knowledge, students will develop skills in science practices. An underlying theme of this course is Earth’s temperature and its relation to climate. Our intention is that students can apply their understanding of core principles in science to deepen their understanding of factors affecting Earth’s temperature. Integrated Science is organized around four units of study: Geosphere, Hydrosphere, Atmosphere, and Biosphere. These units are based in the core disciplines of science: Geology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and the integrated discipline of Environmental Science.
